Finding a hotel can be a real pain sometimes, but the Internet has started to offer us a lot of solutions to that particular problem. There are a lot of different reservation services for hotels online.

It used to be you had to go through a travel agency or broker to find a decent hotel at your destination. This gave you the comfort of knowing that the hotel met your standard, but this was a service you ended up paying for.

There are a lot of hotel reservation services online which can help you, but shopping around using different ones can pay off. I was looking to book a short stay in South Africa a few weeks back and the different services gave me very different prices – however, they were all cheaper than my travel broker.
